Dental Veneers

Typically used to improve the appearance of teeth that are discoloured, crooked or chipped, Veneers can give you the smile of your dreams in a very short space of time. A Veneer is a thin piece of porcelain or plastic that is glued over the front of your tooth. They are strong and durable and normally last from ten to fifteen years.

There are three different types of Veneers. The Veneer procedure we carry out is tailored to the specific needs of each of our patients.

Composite Veneer Procedure

These are usually performed during the course of a single visit to Art of Dentistry. It involves the application of a bond and enamel directly to the tooth’s surface.

Porcelain Veneer Procedure

These usually require two visits and a degree of dental laboratory work to create the final tooth restoration piece.

Lumineer Porcelain Veneer Procedure

These are a new type of porcelain veneers. Contact lens thin, there is little or no tooth reduction necessary in most cases and anaesthetics are not normally required.
